Chopped strand mat (CSM) is a fastening material for use with polyester or vinyl ester resins for the manufacture or repair of various composite parts.
Fiberglass emulsion mat is compressed non-woven fiberglass yarns that form the hair fabric. It is the most popular reinforcement material for cost-effective lamination with polyester or vinyl ester resins. When impregnated with resin, they become soft and submit to various shapes, making them easy to work with.
