Crestamould\u00ae 15PA<\/strong> is a spayable urethane modified vinyl ester gelcoat. It has excellent gloss properties with excellent strength. High heat resistance, very good chemical resistance, leaving no ‘water marks’ or stains. Using Crestamould\u00ae 15PA for mould or laminate also reduces fabric bulging. Crestamould\u00ae 15PA is recommended for high quality moulds. It is also excellent for epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester laminates.
\n<\/br><\/p>\n

Use<\/h3>\n

Crestamould\u00ae 15PA should have an application thickness of approximately 0.5-0.6mm, which is approximately 500-750g of gelcoat per square metre. Crestamould\u00ae 15PA can be used as a topcoat by adding 2% Crystic\u00ae Solution MW paraffin. <\/p>\n

Application time using 2% Butanox M50 (or alternative) hardener is 29min (15\u00baC), 22min (20\u00baC), 14min (25\u00baC).
\n<\/br><\/p>\n

To produce an optimal or technologically correct mould, you need:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Crestamould\u00ae 15PA<\/strong><\/a>
    \nApply Crestamould\u00ae 15PA to the waxed surface.<\/li>\n
  2. Crestamould\u00ae 679PA<\/a> + 1 coat 150 g\/m2 fibreglass hair<\/a><\/strong>
    \nAfter 2-8 hours<\/em> – apply 1 coat of Crestamould\u00ae 679PA vinyl ester resin and 1 coat 150 g\/m2 fibreglass hair.
    \nWhen laminating it is preferable to press it against the gelcoat and squeeze bubbles out of it with a bubble squeezing roller.<\/li>\n
  3. Crestamould\u00ae 4010PA<\/a> + 4 coats 450 g\/m2 fibreglass mat<\/a><\/strong>
    \nAfter 8-16 hours<\/em> – apply one coat 450 g\/m2 fibreglass mat at a time, laminating with Crestamould\u00ae 4010PA to <\/strong>form a 4-layer laminate.
    \nPlease note that the resin application time is ~30 minutes and all 4 coats must be applied within this time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Storage<\/h3>\n

    Store Crestamould\u00ae 15PA in a closed container and do not expose to direct sunlight. The recommended storage temperature is below 20\u00baC if possible, but should not exceed 30\u00baC.
