{"id":2857,"date":"2020-04-17T08:56:07","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T05:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kompozits.lv\/product\/epoxy-laminating-resin-lg-385\/"},"modified":"2024-09-23T15:03:06","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T12:03:06","slug":"epoxy-laminating-resin-lg-385","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/kompozits.lv\/en\/product\/epoxy-laminating-resin-lg-385\/","title":{"rendered":"Epoxy resin for laminating LG 385"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LG 385 epoxy resin<\/strong> is a high quality resin with increased bonding capacity and high flexibility and load resistance, while maintaining very high hardness and temperature resistance properties.<br \/>\nThe resin contains a specially modified additive which significantly improves the resin&#8217;s absorption capacity in the fabric, making it particularly suitable for use with carbon or Kevlar fabrics.<br \/>\nThe resin is compatible with most polyester gelcoats. <br \/> HG 385 hardener is a low viscosity hardener containing additives, allowing the laminate to be worked without special post-curing and to obtain 90% of the mechanical properties of the laminate by holding for 2-7 days at room temperature (<sup>23oC<\/sup>). <br \/> Post-curing is not necessary but is recommended to achieve the maximum mechanical and chemical properties of the resin.<br \/>\nThe temperature resistance of the resin systems after <sup>50<\/sup>\u00b0C post-heating is in the range <sup>-60<\/sup>\u00b0C to <sup>60<\/sup>\u00b0C.<br \/>\nPost-heating at <sup>80oC<\/sup>&#8211; temperature resistance <sup>80-90oC<\/sup>.      <\/br><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Use<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><\/br>Mix the epoxy resin and hardener together on a balance in the proportions indicated, stir thoroughly and work out according to the development time of the hardener.<br \/>\nThe optimum temperature for resin development is 20-25\u00b0C, while the working room temperature is 15-30\u00b0C and the humidity &lt;80%. <\/br>Do not mix the resin in large quantities as the resin may start to heat and boil when the curing reaction starts at high thickness.<br \/>\nThe total thickness of the resin laminate should not exceed 5 mm.    <\/br><\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;
