CARBOTACK 02-A is a special epoxy adhesive suitable for positioning fabrics (carbon, Kevlar, glass) in vacuum infusion, R.T.M., R.F.I., PRE-PREG processes.
It can also be used for bonding fabrics with plastic films or for blocking fabric textures to facilitate cutting operations.
Recommended for use on a moulded or shaped surface, positioning and fixing the first decorative layer before various vacuum processes.
Properties
- High compatibility with epoxy resins.
- No yellowing or other reactions even at high temperatures up to 200°C.
- Produces a highly transparent adhesive film without defects.
- Designed to avoid gasification defects during cross-connection and cooking.
- Spray with modular 3-position valve (L-M-H).
- Strong adhesion with small amounts of product.
Use
- Shake well before use.
- Adhesive materials must be clean, dry and dust-free.
- Apply a layer of product 10/20 cm from the surface.
- Wait 10-60 seconds after application, depending on air temperature and humidity, to position and fix the fabric.
- Apply pressure to create adhesion.
Storage
- Storage temperature 15-30°C.
- Store aerosols in the box for up to 12 months.
