Crystic® GT-900 is a pre-accelerated, isophthalic polyester-based gelcoat or decor. For spray applications.
Crystic® GT-900 is most commonly used in the watercraft manufacturing and repair, transportation industries, as well as in various sports equipment, artwork and architectural applications. Can also be used as a composite mould gelcoat.
USED:
The application thickness of Crystic® GT-900 should be approximately 0.6-0.8 mm or 600-800 microns, which is approximately 600-700 grams of gelcoat per square metre. Gelcoat can be used as a topcoat by adding and stirring in 2-4% Crystic® Solution MW paraffin.
Crystic® GT-900 is approved by Lloyd’s Register for the use of gelcoat in ship and waterway construction and repair work.
Application time of gelcoat using 2% Butanox M50 hardener and time between coats (if necessary):
