SLIP-LG 100 is a transparent epoxy resin for casting, thicker coatings and handicrafts. They are most widely used in wood, design tables, ornaments, ice and glass imitation. Resins are often used in conjunction with various pigments, inks and fillers – powders, sand, stones, etc. – to obtain various visual and mechanical properties.

Casting epoxy resin SLIP-LG 100 contains additives that make the resin more gentle on people with allergies, as well as additives that help to degas the resin.

They have excellent self-leveling properties and can be sanded and polished to achieve a perfectly smooth and shiny surface. In cases where a matte finish is desired, no polishing is required, but sanding with a fine abrasive such as P1200 or P1500 sandpaper or Scotch-Bright® is possible.

When working with epoxy resin SLIP-LG 100, it must be noted that the objects in contact with the resin must be completely dry, for example, when pouring them on solid wood boards, make sure that their humidity does not exceed 5%. If there is no assurance that the particular wood or board is sufficiently dry, it can be primed using the resin itself by applying a thin layer on the planned contact surfaces 8+ hours before casting of greater thickness.
If you want to pour into the mass, for example, a flower or other object, it must also be dried and dry.

After the resin has hardened, they provide excellent protection for surfaces and molded objects from the effects of moisture and the external environment.

It is recommended to check the compatibility of the resin with various dyes and fillers before use.
