Epoxy resin LG 385 is a high-quality resin with high bonding capacity and high flexibility and load resistance, while maintaining very high hardness and temperature resistance properties. The resin contains a specially modified additive, which significantly improves the resin absorption capacity of the resin, making them especially suitable for working with carbon or kevlar fabrics. The resin is compatible with most polyester gelcoat.
HG 385 hardener is a low viscosity hardener that contains additives, allowing to work with the laminate without special post-heating and obtain 90% of the mechanical properties of the laminate by keeping for 2-7 days at room temperature (23oC).
Post-heating is not necessary, but is recommended to achieve the maximum mechanical and chemical properties of the resin. When the resin system is heated after 50oC, its temperature resistance is in the range of -60oC to 60oC. After heating 80oC – temperature resistance 80-90oC.
